Why there is no cookie banner

Because there is nothing to consent to. Consent banners exist for cookies and similar technologies used for analytics, advertising, or profiling. This site uses none of them, so a banner would be asking permission for something that is not happening.

If that ever changes, the banner will appear at the same time as the tracking, not before it and not after.

What is actually stored

One entry in local storage, holding your theme choice so the site does not flash the wrong colours the next time you open it. It contains a single word — your preference — and no identifier of any kind.

Local storage is not a cookie: it is never attached to a network request, so it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.

What this site does not use

For completeness, none of the following are present anywhere on this site:

• Analytics or measurement cookies
• Advertising, retargeting, or conversion pixels
• Social media tracking widgets
• Session or authentication cookies — there is nothing to log into
• Cross-site or third-party tracking of any kind
• Embedded content that would set cookies on our behalf

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, which processes the technical details of each request in order to deliver a page and may keep them in operational logs. That is infrastructure logging by the host rather than a cookie set in your browser, and it is described further in the Privacy Policy.

This page describes this website only. Websites, chat widgets, and touchpoints we implement for clients may use cookies where their function requires it. What each of those uses is documented during solution design and is the client's responsibility to disclose on their own site.
